Champagne is booming in Australia, with new figures out showing that imports have increased by 16.5% in volume and 26.8% in value over the past year.

As detailed in Drinks Digest, Champagne has gone from a sometimes drink, to a regular part of the diet. What’s also interesting is that Australia remains one of the markets most focussed on NV Champagne, with brut non-vintage making up 91.2% of the Australian imports.
