By opting into Kaddy’s Supplier Price Guarantee program, we (the “Supplier”) agree at all times to:
By agreeing with the above, we acknowledge that Kaddy will include us in the Supplier Price Guarantee program. If a Supplier is not acting in the spirit of the program or Kaddy receives feedback from a Customer that the conditions above are not being met and action to remedy is not being taken, the Supplier will be removed from the program and will stop receiving the associated benefits.
What does Supplier Price Guarantee mean?
Supplier Price Guarantee ensures Customers achieve on Kaddy: a wholesale list price in line or lower than other wholesale channels; deals or discounts made available to them outside of Kaddy, should that Customer wish to trade on Kaddy.
What about if the chains or other retail groups run promotional activity that I can not control?
These prices are not wholesale prices or quoted by you, so they do not fall under Supplier Price Guarantee requirements.
How do any banner group rebates get treated?
If a banner group rebate is reflected in the quoted price for that Customer at the time of purchase, then that is part of a wholesale list price or discounted price, so forms part of the Supplier Price Guarantee should that customer wish to trade on Kaddy. If a rebate is offered to a customer by the banner group outside of your wholesale list price for that banner after the time of purchase, then this does not form part of the Supplier Price Guarantee.
For example, a bannered retail store is quoted $100 for your product outside of Kaddy (which includes their banner rebate of $2). Should they wish to trade on Kaddy, under the Supplier Price Guarantee, this would mean their achievable price on Kaddy is no more than $100. If this Customer is quoted $100 for your product outside of Kaddy and they receive a rebate at a later date (eg end of month), then this rebate does not need to be reflected in the Supplier Price Guarantee on Kaddy.
What is the impact of freight costs?
For direct wholesale business, we expect freight to be in line with what is achieved via Kaddy as this is controlled by the Supplier. For third party wholesalers we recognise freight may be out of a Supplier’s control so is not considered to be part of the Supplier Price Guarantee program.
Do I need to offer the best possible price for all customers equally?
No you do not. As the Supplier, you completely control which Customers can achieve which deal or discount on Kaddy as you can outside of Kaddy. The program ensures a Customer can access on Kaddy their agreed deal or discount offered to them outside of Kaddy should they wish to trade on Kaddy.
Can I run promotions with other wholesaler channels?
Yes. Under the Supplier Price Guarantee, this would mean that if a Customer who is part of that promotion wishes to trade on Kaddy, they could access the equivalent deal or discount on Kaddy at the time of the promotion.
What happens if a customer is offered a cheaper price outside of Kaddy?
If a Customer has access to a lower wholesale list price or better deal/discount outside of Kaddy and wishes to trade on Kaddy, the Supplier agrees to update Kaddy to match the better price.
How will customers know which suppliers are part of the Supplier Price Guarantee program?
Suppliers in the program will be identified with a “Price Guarantee” badge in the Kaddy platform. Customers will also be able to filter and search by this field. We expect that Suppliers who opt into this program will attract more connections and orders.
What happens if a supplier does not comply with the conditions of the program whilst in the program?
If a Supplier does not meet the conditions of the program or act in the spirit of the program that Supplier will be removed from the program. Suppliers can choose to opt out any time and aside from the program benefits, they will still receive the full benefits of being on Kaddy.
